Solid and liquid absorbents

There are two kinds of solid absorbents. One absorbent does not change its physical and chemical structure when adsorbing moisture, such as silica gel; while the other adsorbent, such as calcium chloride, does change. Liquid absorbents are mostly concentrated saline solutions. They control humidity by adjusting their concentration and temperature.

Passive dehumidification

Using the properties of porous building decoration materials to absorb moisture is called passive dehumidification. Materials used for passive dehumidification are usually gypsum boards.

Dried dehumidification

Rotary dehumidifier is mainly used in humid climates. Its dehumidification capacity is better than that of a refrigeration dehumidifier.

The processed air of rotary dehumidifier won’t be below the dew point, which avoids the low temperature caused by refrigerant evaporation to undermining the efficiency. And leakage caused by improper condensate discharge is also no longer a problem.
