He pointed out: "Solid state batteries have much higher dew point requirements for the production environment than liquid batteries. Traditional dehumidification systems consume enormous amounts of energy, which has become a bottleneck restricting large-scale development. Taking a 10GW battery production line as an example, the dehumidification and drying system accounts for 40% of the total power distribution."

-Technological innovation to break the high energy consumption dilemma
Facing the challenges of high-energy-consuming industries, Provac has addressed the root causes through technological innovation, launching a series of innovative solutions: Firstly, it reduces the regeneration airflow ratio of dehumidification systems to 1:20, directly lowering energy consumption by 50% compared to the traditional 1:10 ratio; it can also be adapted to heat pump water heating and two-phase steam flow to achieve energy savings.
Secondly, it pioneered a medium-temperature regenerative dehumidification rotor, collaborating with Tsinghua University to develop a new generation of deep multi-stage dehumidification systems. The supply air dew point can reach -75℃DP, and it supports modular installation. Combined with a magnetic levitation chilled/hot water system, overall energy savings exceed 50%. Its implemented ice slurry cold and heat storage system (a key national 14th Five-Year Plan project) achieves a cooling COP of up to 10, laying the technological foundation for large-scale production.

Addressing the unique challenge of simultaneously achieving dehumidification and desulfurization in sulfide solid-state battery manufacturing, Dong Rubo provided a clear and concise technical analysis: Sulfide electrolytes, upon contact with moisture and oxygen during production, produce highly toxic hydrogen sulfide gas. Traditional solutions either incur extremely high energy consumption to control the dew point or face significant safety handling costs due to insufficient dew point control.
Puworth innovatively proposed an integrated "dehumidification and desulfurization" solution: using Puworth's proprietary sulfide rotor to adsorb and remove hydrogen sulfide gas, followed by drying with the dehumidifying rotor, and then returning clean air to the workshop.
This solution can operate continuously and stably, is compatible with various low-dew-point dehumidification systems, and has been tested to reduce the workshop's hydrogen sulfide concentration from 2 ppm to 0-0.2 ppm, fully meeting safety standards. This innovative solution provides a practical technical path to achieving the green and low-carbon goals of solid-state batteries and received high praise from participating peers.
